Our house
The Frauenhaus Pinzgau is an autonomous, party-politically and denominationally independent women’s shelter and is organized as a non-profit association.
In 1997, the first apartment was rented to provide shelter and protection for a woman and her children affected by violence. Half a year later, on May 18, 1998, the Pinzgau Women’s Shelter was officially opened. As a result, the FrauenNOTRUF Innergebirg was established in July 1998, so that admission to the women’s shelter is guaranteed around the clock.
In the meantime, the Pinzgau Women’s Shelter has become an established and recognized institution in the Innergebirg social landscape.
